#6 in my current series of cards featuring focal elements created using fussy cut petal shapes with flourishes. For this card I used the same body as I did for the butterflies but added only one set of wings in a more horizontal stance which makes cute dragonflies!! I pieced by background from scraps and stamped a green stitched pattern (SU) unto the joints. I mounted the dragonflies with double sided tape and then drew in their flight paths. Feeling like this card needed a bit more I added faux stitching around all four edges and then an embossed blue strip (CB) embellished with little bits of ribbon and adhered with two white eyelets.
