Meljen's blog. I started by laser printing the image and the greeting as I did on the card for his older brother and adding watercolour to both of them. I created a layered background using strips of decorative paper and added a blue ribbon before I glued it to my yellow card front. I tied a short piece of ribbon to the right side to simulate a bow. I added faux stitching with a black fine tip Sharpie to the image before I adhered it to the card front using 3D foam tape. I trimmed the greeting with scallop decorative scissors, added dots in black and adhered it to the card front using 3D foam tape.
There are so many cute digital images out there that are perfect for making kids' cards!!
