Beautiful watercolour background with some embossing and simple layered greeting
I made this card along with a few more at the last minute last week! I was looking for quick and easy!! I found this watercolour background in my stash and wanted to jazz it up a bit without covering any of it up so I embossed it with a simple floral flourish which did exactly what I wanted it to. I mounted it to a green card front and added a simple layered greeting to finish it off. The greeting is laser printed onto white cardstock, punched out with the Word Window punch (SU) and layered onto a Modern label punchie in bright turquoise blue!! Perfect! I mounted it to my card using 3D double sided tape just where it needed to be so it would be in the flow of the watercolour design!! I love doing these watercolour backgrounds - just random spots and swipes of colour on a large piece. Once dry, I trim them to 4" x 5.25" for A2 cards and they make awesome cards quick and easy!!
