60th anniversary guest book

I made this guestbook for my Mom and Dad's 60th wedding anniversary celebration!!  Here is the card I made for them.  This paper has come in real handy as I have used it for a couple wedding cards and some cards I made as a bridal shower gift as well.
I started with chipboard covers (packaging from something) which I cut to 8.5" x 5.5" and then covered with this elegant decorative paper.  I lined the inside with white paper and pressed them a couple of days to be sure they dried flat.  I created a cover sheet with details of the event and the pages for signing in Corel Draw and
laser printed them.  I cut them down just a slight bit smaller than the covers, punched the whole lot with my Zutter binding machine and added a 1/2" white wire binding.
To decorate the cover I stitched a sleeve of white tulle, gathered it and tied it off.  I found a beautiful silver toned heart button in my stash and cut off the shank so it would lie flat.  I used heavy weight white thread to attach it to the front cover and used the ends to gather the inside tulle to reflect the outer treatment.   You can see to the left a close up of the button and the beautiful shimmer of this paper.
Super happy with how this book turned out!!
